RECOMMENDATION
Receive and file the report.
BACKGROUND
• On September 23, 2024, the Planning Commission reviewed and made a recommendation to certify the Final Program Environmental Impact Report (EIR), and approve the General Plan Update, and zoning map and text amendments to comply with the adopted Housing Element.
• October 1, 2024, the City Council certified the Final Program EIR, approved the General Plan Update and instructed staff to schedule the zoning map and text amendment for a second reading.
FISCAL IMPACT
There are no financial implications resulting from this recommendation.
