PUBLIC NOTICE OF INTENTION TO AMEND THE
CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Lomita intends to amend the City’s Conflict of Interest Code (the “Code”) pursuant to Government Code section 87300.
The Appendix of the Code designates those employees, members, officers, and consultants who make or participate in the making of decisions and are subject to disclosure requirements of the City’s Code. The City’s proposed amendment includes new positions that must be designated, revises titles of existing positions, and removes positions that have been abolished.
The proposed amended Code will be considered by the City Council at the regularly scheduled meeting of November 19, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. Any interested person may virtually attend the meeting and comment or may submit written comments concerning the proposed amendment. Instructions on how to attend will be posted on the agenda.
