RESOLUTION NO. 2025-04
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOMITA,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING TRAVEL POLICY AND REPEALING AND
RESCINDING ANY PREVIOUS POLICIES OR ADMINISTRATIVE
MEMORANDA RELATED TO TRAVEL
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOMITA, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY FIND, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City recognizes that fiscal policies and procedures are necessary for efficient, effective, and proper accounting of City spending; and Section 2. The City Council of the City of Lomita has reviewed the Travel Policy, attached hereto as Exhibit A, and wishes to adopt the policy; and Section 3. The adoption of this policy will further contribute to the City of Lomita’s financial stability and well-being.
Section 4. A Travel Policy for the City of Lomita, which is set forth in Exhibit A to this Resolution, and which is incorporated herein by reference, is hereby adopted and enacted.
Section 5. That any policies, or administrative memoranda, previously in force are hereby repealed to the extent that any portion or provision thereof is in conflict with the attached Travel Policy.
Section 6. This Resolution will become effective immediately upon adoption.
Section 7. The City Clerk shall certify the passage and adoption of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions.
