NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lomita City Council will hold a public hearing at 6:00 p.m. or shortly thereafter on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, in the Lomita City Hall Council Chambers, 24300 Narbonne Avenue, to consider the following:
AMENDMENTS TO THE MASTER FEE RESOLUTION FOR THE PARKS AND RECREATION
DEPARTMENT
The City Council will consider amending the Parks and Recreation Department Master Fee Schedule to comply with Proposition A and Measure A grant fund requirements. The amendment will allow residents of Lomita and non-residents to pay the same fee amount for Recreational programs and facility rentals.
The master fee schedule includes amended fees for City services and activities within the following departments/divisions:
Parks and Recreation
• Adult Sports
• Adult and Senior Programs
• Facility Rentals
• Youth Sports and Programs
Should the master fee schedule be approved after the public hearing June 3, 2025, the fees shall be effective on June 4, 2025. A copy of the proposed amended fee schedule resolution will be available with the online City Council Agenda Packet, beginning May 30, 2025. A copy of the proposed fee schedule is also available for public review in the Office of the City Clerk, 24300 Narbonne Avenue, Lomita.
For further information contact Emma Kelley, Parks and Recreation Director at (310) 326-0140 between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:00p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on alternate Fridays.
At the public hearing you may be heard, or you may write to the City Council in support of or in opposition to this matter. If you challenge the decision of the City Council in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues that were raised at this public hearing or in written correspondence delivered to the City Council at or before the hearing. You will be allowed three (3) minutes to speak before the City Council.

Notification at least 48 hours prior to the meeting will enable the City to make reasonable arrangements to allow participation at this meeting.
