RESOLUTION NO. 2025-25
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOMITA,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A COMPENSATION PLAN FOR
EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEES FOR FISCAL YEARS
2025-26 THROUGH 2027-28 AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO.
2024-30
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOMITA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE,
DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS
SECTION 1. Recitals:
A. Section 36506 of the Government Code requires the City Council to prescribe the time and method of payment of salaries and wages of officers and employees of the City.
B. It is necessary from time to time to establish comprehensive wage and salary schedules and to fix the rates and compensation to be paid officers and employees of the City as well as other regulations.
SECTION 2. Resolution No. 2025-01 is hereby rescinded.
SECTION 3. The Compensation Plan for Executive Management Employees, attached hereto as Attachment “A” is approved in its entirety shall be effective July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2028.
SECTION 4. This Resolution will become effective immediately upon adoption.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution and thereupon the same shall take effect and be in force and effect in accordance with its terms.
