SUBJECT: Second Reading and Adoption of Ordinance No. 876 - An Ordinance Relating to the Establishment of Oversized Vehicle Regulations
RECOMMENDED ACTION
Waive full reading and adopt Ordinance No. 876.
BACKGROUND
At the October 7, 2025, regular City Council meeting, the City Council introduced on first reading and held the public hearing regarding an ordinance amending Lomita Municipal Code Title VIII to add Chapter 10 entitled “Oversized Vehicle Permits.” The City Council voted unanamously to approve the first reading with a minor correction to the ordinance in Section 8-10.02 Oversized Vehicle Parking Prohibited: Enforcement with the word bail being replaced with the word fine in item c of the section referenced.
DISCUSSION
Adoption of the Ordinance requires a second reading for public noticing purposes. Staff recommends that the City Council waive the full reading and adopt Ordinance No. 876.

There are no financial implications resulting from this recommendation.
