3 01. PROJECT OVERVIEW
The City of Lomita plays a vital role in keeping residents informed, connected, and engaged—and a well-designed, accessible quarterly newsletter is one of the most effective tools for strengthening that relationship. The quarterly newsletter is more than a communication tool; it’s a vital bridge between City Hall and the residents it serves, turning updates into engagement and information into inspiration. With over 27 years of experience in graphic design, digital strategy, and public-facing communication, I bring the creative energy and technical expertise needed to elevate that connection.

Beginning with the Summer 2026 issue, my goal is to deliver a visually dynamic, ADA-compliant newsletter that highlights Lomita’s programs, celebrates its accomplishments, and strengthens its relationship with the community. I specialize in transforming information into accessible, compelling storytelling—ensuring every resident, regardless of ability, can easily engage with the city’s messages. By combining creativity, precision, and a deep understanding of accessible design, this project will help Lomita not only inform its residents, but energize, unite, and reflect the true spirit of the community.
