CHANGE ORDER 2
This Change Order 2 to the Agreement for Services dated 08/25/2025 (“Agreement”) is between City of Lomita CA (“Client”) and Terracon Consultants, Inc. (“Consultant”) for additional or changed Services to be provided by Consultant for Client on the Lomita Little League Project, as described in Agreement for Services. This Change Order is incorporated into and made part of the Agreement.
1. Scope of Services. The scope of the additional or changed Services is described in the Scope of Services section of Consultant’s Change Order Proposal, unless Services are otherwise described below or in Exhibit B to this Change Order (which section or exhibit are incorporated into the Change Order).
We understand the site is located at 26800 South Western Avenue in Lomita, Los Angeles County, California (a part of Los Angeles County Assessor Identification Number (AIN) 7442001907) and consists of approximately 6.2 acres of land. The site consists of three baseball fields, batting cages, an approximately 60-square foot (SF) storage shed, and an approximately two-story 500 SF snack bar and office building. The site is further improved with limited landscaping and utilities.
An Environmental Condition of Property (ECP) report will be performed consistent with the procedures included in ASTM D6008-22, Standard Practice for Determining the Environmental Condition of Federal Property and ASTM D5746, Standard Classification of Environmental Condition of Property Area. The purpose of this ECP is to assist the client in evaluating certain elements of the environmental condition of the property. This practice is intended to help a user to gather and analyze data and information in order to classify the site into one of the seven environmental condition property area types. Once documented, the ECP report may be used to support Findings of Suitable to Lease (FOSLs), or uncontaminated property determinations, or a combination thereof, pursuant to the requirements of CERFA and CERCLA SS 120(h). The ECP will be based on existing environmental information related to storage, release, treatment, or disposal of hazardous substances, munitions, or petroleum products on the property to determine or discover the obviousness of the presence or the likely release or threatened release of any hazardous substances or petroleum product. The potential for vapor migration will be addressed as part of the ECP and will be considered by Terracon in evaluation of recognized environmental conditions (RECs) associated with the property.
The draft report will be completed 20-25 business days from written notice to proceed.
2. Compensation. Client shall pay compensation for the additional or changed Services performed at the fees stated in the Change Order Proposal unless fees are otherwise stated below or in Exhibit C to this Change Order (which section or exhibit are incorporated into the Change Order).
Lump sum of $6,400 (Assumes one round of review/revisions if needed) All terms and conditions of the Agreement shall continue in full force and effect. This Change Order is accepted and Consultant is authorized to proceed.
