On behalf of FuturePorts I am writing to you to express our support for the World Oil RIBOSTTank Installation Project IS/ND.

FuturePorts is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit advocacy coalition founded in 2005 to help coalesce theSouthern California supply chain around the need to both grow the ports and to address theenvironmental, air quality, and quality of life issues that come with that growth. FuturePortsbelieves that a vibrant and healthy economic and environmental future for the ports is vital tous all.

World Oil is a very innovative company, recycling many products including motor oil andantifreeze. With the addition of the two smaller tanks, the RIBOST Terminal Project will be ableto provide surge capacity for blending and storage of marine fuels to meet cleaner IMO 2020standards, which will directly benefit Port tenants who use these fuels.

The project will also benefit the local economy, maintaining existing jobs at the terminal as wellas create many new, good-paying ones during construction.

The new tankage at the RIBOST Terminal will also increase the efficiency of the terminal, itscustomers, and the Port of Long Beach.

For these reasons and more, FuturePorts is proud to support World Oil in their tank installationproject.

Thank you,
Marnie PrimmerExecutive DirectorFuturePorts
