Recommendation to authorize the City Attorney to submit Compromise and Release for approval by the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board, and if so approved, authority to pay $75,000.00 in compliance with the Appeals Board Order for Albert Smith.
DISCUSSION:
Albert Smith has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of his employment with the City of Long Beach. The Government and Personnel Attorney Client Committee on January 18, 2022, approved the submission to the Workers' Compensation .A.ppeals Board of Compromise and Release by the City and Albert Smith, in the amount of $75,000.00.
