IBEW fully endorses the Freedom /Freight Villages regional concept design that will transform the way business is done at the Port of Long Beach and benefit the local community and organized labor. We look forward to this innovative , environmentally friendly strateg y to increase workers salaries and provide more opportunities to recruit and train more apprentice electrical workers , locally .

As part of the coalition to implement the concept , IBEW workers will work on the super magnetic tape installation and integration of electrical transmission for storage and goods movement as well as other key electrical work.

We will also look forward to working with Ed Rendon who will help us find common ground with other local unions so that this project can seamlessly move forward to benefit the greater Los Angeles community.

Looking forward to our collaboration.

Sincerely ,
~~
Political Director
