STUDY SESSION Dave Shukla [email protected] Questions:
- How many ventilators were manufactured in LB,
regardless of company, firm, or industry, from 1/1/20
through to the present?
- How many of these units were delivered to LB area (or, to be generous, LA County, or even LA Basin area...)
Hospitals and ICUs?
- What happened to the City's online "dashboard" in
2022? Why has it not been updated more than once a
week, on average, so far this calendar year?
- What is the current estimate of excess deaths, either due to the COVID-19 (and variants) or pandemic-
induced lack of medical access, within LB Health Dept.
jurisdiction over the past two years?
- What is the current economic estimate of loss (lost
wages/salaries, lost rents, lost sales, lost taxes, lost output, supply chain issues, etc.) due to "reopening" on 5/1/20?
- What will be the policy response of this body (LB City Council) to evident failures to protect its citizens over the past two years?
- If it had been COVID-15, would the U.S. have failed so completely?
