Dear Councilmembers,
Every new non-electric vehicle that you purchase locks in carbon emissions for the entire lifespan of that vehicle. In the case of this patrol vehicle, your vote commits our city to 25 years of carbon emissions and fossil fuel dependency.
When will you begin to use your "power of the purse" to stimulate a transition away from gasoline?
