Vice Mayor Rex Richardson requests that Agenda Item No. 27 be revised to read as follows, and that the revised staff report be distributed for the City Council meeting of July 5, 2022.
Recommendation to direct City Manager to invest in Community Policing by working with LBPD Long Beach Police Department to provide options in the FY23 budget for structural funding of the Neighborhood Walks program; and ·
Direct City Manager to work with LBPD Long Beach Police Department to provide options in the FY23 budget for an expansion of LBPD's "Bicycle Beats" program, including assigning at least 25 more officers to the program .

Long Beach Partners of Parks, in the amount of $5,000;
Long Beach Lesbian and Gay Pride (LBLGP) Inc, in the amount of $2,500; and
Decrease appropriations in the General Fund Group in the Citywide Activities Department by $7,500 to offset a transfer to the City Manager Department.
