Subject: Divide By 9 Sponsorship: Camerata Singers
RECOMMENDATION:
Increase appropriations in the General Fund Group in the City Manager Department by $250 offset by $250 of Ninth Council District One-time District Priority Funds transferred from the Citywide Activities Department to provide a donation to the following:
Long Beach Camerata Singers, in the amount of $250;
Decrease appropriations in the General Fund Group in the Citywide Activities Department by $250 to offset a transfer to the City Manager Department.
Discussion
Vice Mayor Richardson would like to provide a sponsorship to the Long Beach Camerata Singers’ upcoming edition of their “Front Porch” concert series taking place in Houghton Park on July 31st.
Fiscal Impact
No Financial Management review was able to be conducted due to the urgency and time sensitivity of this item.
Urgency Statement
As July 19th is the final council meeting before the concert, urgency is requested for this item.
