-EXTERNAL-
Dear City Council Members and Honorable Mayor,
I was thrilled to hear about the proposed funds for the Bluff Park Historic Lamppost Project in the fiscal 2023 city budget. Thank you for this remarkable effort!
This very special ongoing project, which utilizes the original manufacturer of the existing Historic 1920's lampposts, will continue to tell the story of one of Long Beach's decorative icons and enhance the Bluff Park Historic Neighborhood's original intent for vintage lighting for generations to follow.
I support all your efforts to help fulfil the project and its goal to make Long Beach's second designated Historic District and Neighborhood feel whole and cohesive.
A place of history will help all residents and visitors to Long Beach continue to feel a sense of pride and place throughout and enrich all of us in the city.
You certainly have my support and gratitude.
Thank you,
Marco Pizzo
