Good Afternoon, Mayor and Councilmembers.
It has been brought to my attention that the Bluff Park Neighborhood Lamppost Project has been included in the Mayor's Proposed Fiscal Year 2023 Budget. (Citywide)
As you are aware Historic Preservation has for many years been very important to the citizens of Long Beach, (18 Historic Districts and Ordinances.) The Lamppost Project has also been a community sponsored and community building effort.
I wish to add my support to our neighborhood association's (BPNA) respectful request that this item remain in the budget proposal.
