Subject: Divide By 9 Sponsorship: Ron Palmer Summer Basketball & Academic Camp
RECOMMENDATION:
Increase appropriations in the General Fund Group in the City Manager Department by $1000 offset by $500 of Ninth Council District One-time District Priority Funds and $500 of Seventh Council District One-time District Priority Funds transferred from the Citywide Activities Department to provide a donation to the following:
Ron Palmer Summer Basketball and Academic Camp, in the amount of $1000; Decrease appropriations in the General Fund Group in the Citywide Activities Department by $1000 to offset a transfer to the City Manager Department.
Discussion
Vice Mayor Richardson and Councilmember Uranga would like to provide a sponsorship to the Ron Palmer Summer Basketball and Academic Camp taking place at Browning High School the week of August 9th.
Fiscal Impact
No Financial Management review was able to be conducted due to the urgency and time sensitivity of this item.
Urgency Statement
As August 9th is the final council meeting before the camp, urgency is requested for this item.
