Recommendation to authorize the City Attorney to submit two Stipulations with Testd Vigus request Tor Award for approval by the Workers Compensation Appeals Board Amy R. Wetler and if so approved, authority to pay 1) $37,990.00 and also 2) separate authorit Erin Weesner-Mckinic Theadore B. Zinge
to pay $85,622.50 in compliance with the Appeals Board Order for Kevin Anderson.
DISCUSSION:
Kevin Anderson has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of his employment with the City of Long Beach. The Government and Personnel Attorney- Client Committee on August 16, 2022, approved the submission to the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board of two Stipulations with Request for Award by the City and Kevin Anderson, based upon 1) a 30 percent disability rating, with provision for lifetime medical care as may be necessary, and 2) a 53 percent disability rating, with provisions for lifetime medical care as may be necessary.
SUGGESTION ACTION:
Approve recommendation.
