Please put in comments for the meeting on budget. The Legistar system is not working for comments. We should still be having Zoom meetings so the public can join in.
It is an absurdity that only 3.2 million is being allocated to the Long Beach Animal Shelter. We are in a crisis and we need to invest more money in spay/neuter programs in the community. The shelter is not taking in animals and not open 40 hours. What are they getting paid to do? The dog parks should be a great opportunity to do spay/neuter clinics, educate the public...
Please give more money to the Long Beach Shelter.
