Request the City Attorney draft a resolution to excuse Councilmember Roberto Uranga's absence from City Council pursuant to Long Beach City Charter, Section 204.
Background
Long Beach City Charter provides the ability for the City Council to adopt a resolution to excuse the absence of any member of City Council.
Fiscal Impact
No Financial Management review was able to be conducted due to the urgency and time sensitivity of this item.
Urgency Statement
Due to Councilmember Uranga's announcement that he'll be taking leave of absence effective immediately, urgency is requested for this item.
Suggested Action
Approve recommendation.
