RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LONG BEACH GRANTING COUNCILMEMBER
ROBERTO URANGA A LEAVE OF ABSENCE FROM CITY
COUNCIL MEETINGS
WHEREAS, per Long Beach City Charter Section 204, absence from five (5) consecutive regular meetings, unless excused by resolution of the City Council, shall operate to vacate the seat of any City Council member so absent.; and WHEREAS, the City Council was informed th at Councilmember Roberto Uranga has expressed his inability to attend future Council Meetings due to medical reasons and has requested a leave of absence effective immediately; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Long Beach resolves as follows:
Section 1. The leave of absence for Councilmember Roberto Uranga is hereby granted.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by the City Council, and the City Clerk shall certify the vote adopting this resolution. ///
