Hello my name is Diana Perez. I am a Long Beach native, and I am currently studying Health Science at SULB. The reason why I care for solar energy is because it is clean energy. By using our own Sun we can limit the amount of electricity and fossil fuels and simultaneously help keep our Mother earth clean. Not only is this a financial win, but it's also a win for the planet. The problem is that the permit process for solar is far too long and expensive. If we had an easier and faster way to get those permits, more of our residents would opt for solar, once you make it a more viable option. The answer to more solar in Long Beach is permit streamlining software called SOLARAPP+. By adopting this system, more people can get Solar in their homes, not only because it is quick, but it is also safe. Adopting SolarApp+ facilitates the process of jumping on board with sustainability. This investment will help keep our water, our air, our health, and our lovely city of Long beach more beautiful.
