RECOMMENDATION:
Recommendation to authorize the City Attorney to submit Compromise and Release for approval by the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board, and if so approved, authority to pay $150,000.00 in compliance with the Appeals Board Order for Maria Zavala.
DISCUSSION:
Maria Zavala has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of her employment with the City of Long Beach. The Government and Personnel Attorney Client Committee on October 18, 2022, approved the submission to the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board of Compromise and Release by the City and Maria Zavala, in the amount of $150,000.00.

Approve recommendation.
