AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LONG BEACH AMENDING THE LONG BEACH
MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDING AND RESTATING
TITLE 18 IN ITS ENTIRETY, AND ADOPTING LOCAL
AMENDMENTS TO THE 2022 EDITION OF THE
CALIFORNIA BUILDING STANDARDS CODES AND THE
1997 EDITION OF THE UNIFORM HOUSING CODE, ALL OF
WHICH ARE KNOWN AS THE LONG BEACH BUILDING
STANDARDS CODE
The City Council of the City of Long Beach ordains as follows:
Section 1. Title 18 of the Long Beach Municipal Code is hereby amended in its entirety and restated as shown on Exhibit "A", which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference as if set forth in full.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance by the City Council and cause it to be posted in three (3) conspicuous places in the City of Long Beach, and it shall take effect on the thirty-first (31st) day after it is approved by the Mayor, but in no event prior to January 1, 2023.
