Priorities Worksheet
Background. During January 11 through 19, 2023, facilitators Jan Perkins and Steve Mermell met with each City Councilmember to gather input to prepare for the Council retreat scheduled for March 30, 2023. The following is a worksheet outlining priority areas surfaced by City Councilmembers.
Priorities. The following table contains a list of the priorities shared by the Mayor and Councilmembers in their interviews. Bullet points below each topic are explanatory notes provided by members of Council.
• Second column: Specifies which category of the Strategic Vision 2030 the priority relates to. • Third column: Indicates which component of the Mayor’s Opportunity Beach Agenda the item aligns with.
As part of the Council’s discussion on March 30, a consensus direction on top priorities will be sought for FY 2023-24 and FY 2024-25, so staff can build those into the budget and work plans.
