salam Aliah i like to add this E comment but i have hard time ( can you please add it to me)
Asalam Alaikum! My name is Tarek Mohamed, & as the Imam of the Long Beach Islamic Center I would like to extend my deepest appreciation to our esteemed Mayor Rex Richardson, Vice Mayor Cindy Allen, Council District 5 Councilwoman Megan Kerr & all Long Beach City Council members for host ing the first ever "Ramadan Mubarak" historical event. Much gratitude to our beloved Field Deputy (Council District 2), sister Aliah Reza Khan, for ensuring our Iftar went smoothly & adhered to our Islamic faith traditions & to Flamin Curry Restaurant for providing the delicious halal food to break our fast with! Long Beach Muslims will never forget efforts made to make our diverse community feel seen, heard, safe, & welcomed. We will note this in our agenda as the 1st time our great city took the time to celebrate with us. We feel confident that with leadership of this caliber we will continue to grow & prosper as one of the most diverse major cities in America. May God Almighty reward you all!
