Subject: Funds Transfer Request to Support Love Beyond Limits 10 Year Anniversary Celebration
______________________________________________________________________ RECOMMENDATION:
Increase appropriations in the General Fund Group in the City Manager Department b y $500 offset by the Sixth Council District One-time District Priority Funds transferred from the Citywide Activities Department , to provide contributions of 500 to support Love Beyond Limits 10 Year Anniversary Celebration; and,
Decrease appropriations in the General Fund Group in the Citywide Activities Department by $500 to offset a transfer to the City Manager Department.
Discussion
Love Beyond Limits (LBL) is celebrating their 10 year anniversary of giving back to the community on Friday, May 19, 2023, from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM. The theme of the celebration is “Connecting Beyond Limits.” The celebration will include live music and an awards ceremony . LBL provides exceptional enrichment and leadership development opportunities to youth by offering youth opportunities to create and mold their own unique experiences through our wide range of educational and leadership activities and resources.
