RECOMMENDAT ION:
Recommendat ion to authorize the City Attorney to submit Compromise and Release for approva l by the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board, and if so approved , authority to pay $160,000.00 in compliance with the Appeals Board Order for David Poss.
DISCUSSION:
David Poss has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of his employment with the City of Long Beach. The Government Operations and Efficiency Committee on June 20, 2023, approved the submission to the Worke rs' Compensat ion Appeals Board of Compromise and Release in the amount of $160,000.00 by the City and David Poss.
SUGGESTION ACTION :
Approve recommendation.
