Good morning,
I would like to voice my support for the Orange Avenue Backbone Bikeway and Complete Streets project. North/south connections in Long Beach remain a safety issue and current alternatives are rarely convenient. Having a full complete street like Orange which interfaces with many destinations across Long Beach and Signal Hill like Willow Springs Park, north Long Beach, and lots of shops closer to downtown would incentivize much more ridership and provide a safe alternative to driving.
I hope the council moves forward on this project and am looking forward to seeing the plans.
