Hi there,
I'm delighted to see money being dedicated to the Orange Ave Backbone Bikeway! I strongly urge you to support this project and move it forward.
We need to create a safer north-south bike/ped/scooter/wheelchair route that is safe for people of all ages. It's also important that the WHOLE route be safe and protected, not just parts of it.
Additionally, I urge the city to prioritize the protected bike lane that is planned for Spring Street. This is intended to be the east/west backbone of the bike network, so we really need to get both of these projects done in order to truly facilitate safe active transportation.
