1. 25-55890 Recommendation to approve the minutes for the Government Operations and Efficiency Committee meeting of Tuesday, April 15, 2025.
A motion was made by Member Zendejas, seconded by Vice Chair Ricks- Oddie, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote:

2. 25-55891 Recommendation to approve and refer back to City Council for consideration and approval, the naming of the Junior Lifeguard Facility at the Claremont Small Boat Launch Ramp the “Pat Flynn and Dick Miller Junior Lifeguard Facility”, in accordance with City of Long Beach Administrative Regulation AR 8-7 facility naming process and the support of the Marine Advisory Commission.
A motion was made by Vice Chair Ricks-Oddie, seconded by Member Zendejas, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote:

3. 25-55892 Recommendation to request Government Operations and Efficiency Committee feedback and identify recommendations for City Council meeting efficiency and public participation including additional research, staff engagement, and further exploration to be brought back to the Committee for potential advancement to the full Council.
A motion was made by Vice Chair Ricks-Oddie, seconded by Member Zendejas, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote:
