Dear Decision Makers:
My latest Utility bill contained the attached notice saying I could now offer public comments online!
What was the purpose of alerting Long Beach
citizens they can offer public comments online
when you are planning to limit these comments to 90
seconds for all agenda items? This is the height of
irony.
Where are the instructions on when and where to
sign up to speak? The notice gives a web site for
watching the council meeting, but none for how to
comment. I doubt many will call the City Clerk to
get this information.
Sending this color notice to all LB households is
another waste of time and money. Stop whining
about having to cut funds for libraries and fire
safety when you spend money on useless things
like this.
