Dedicated to cultivating public art and universal participation in creative fields, the Arts Council for Long Beach (ArtsLB) hosted its annual State of the Arts Gala on September 19, 2026. This event brought together residents, the creative community, and city leaders to celebrate the 50 th anniversary of ArtsLB and honored residents who made an impact on the arts and culture of Long Beach. A $300 contribution will support event expenses and will enhance grants, public arts, and educational programming across Long Beach.

The Association hosted its annual block party to strengthen neighborhood connections, promote public safety awareness, and foster local pride.
