RECOMMENDATION:
Recommendation to receive and approve Conflict of Interest Code amendment filed, in compliance with State law.
DISCUSSION
Pursuant to Government Code Section 87303 and 87306 each local government agency is required to conduct a review of the conflict of interest codes for an agency. If any amendments are necessary, the proposed amendment(s) should be submitted to the City Council. The following agencies have submitted Exhibit "A" requesting the following action:
Economic Development and Opportunity
oAdded, and Deleted positions
Fire Department
oAdded, Deleted, and Renamed positions
Long Beach Transit
oAdded position
Parks, Recreation and Marine
oDeleted position
Utilities
oAdded, Deleted, and Renamed positions
This matter was reviewed by Deputy City Attorney Gary Anderson on August 31, 2026. The Ethics Commission has been informed of this item and will review at their next meeting.

None.

Approve recommendation.
