RECOMMENDATION:
Recommendation to adopt an ordinance amending the long beach municipal code by amending section 2.93.010, subsection 5.77.090.O, chapters 8.56, 8.58, 8.76, 10.46,
18.03, 18.06, 18.10, 18.20, 18.21, 18.29, 18.30, 18.40, 18.60, 18.68, to effectuate the dissolution of the Board of Examiners, Appeals and Condemnation (BEAC) and assign the duties of the BEAC to the Planning Commission.
DISCUSSION
Pursuant to City Council’s request on November 18, 2025, the referenced ordinance has been prepared and is submitted for the City Council’s review and consideration.

Approve recommendation.
