Subject: Request: Turn on Long Beach City Hall's Lights on Red, White, and Blue for USAID -EXTERNAL-
Hi! My name is Will Alexander, and I'm with the Alliance for American Leadership, a non-partisan PAC working to restore foreign assistance to the Us government. Read more about our work at www.a4al.org.

I'm writing to ask that you turn on Long Beach City Hall's exterior lights to red, white, and blue on the evening of November 3 in honor of both election day and what would be USAID's 65th birthday. The US Agency for International Development (USAID was the largest funding agency for humanitarian and development aid worldwide. The Lancet estimates that USAID directly saved close to 10 million lives over the past two decades.

We're hoping to get responses from across the country from people and organizations willing to support a true success story of the United States. USAID and its impact are (or were) something all Americans could be proud of. We are not an ideologically inclined institution and have endorsed candidates from both parties.

USAID was shuttered by Elon Musk's DOGE at the start of the second Trump administration, but together, we can help bring it back, helping to boost American security and our economy while saving countless lives around the world.

A4AL will be happy to promote your participation in our press releases, articles, social media, and other communications.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions. You can reach me at 919-414-9919 or this email address.

Turning on your lights would be a powerful statement in favor of American leadership and a stronger United States. I hope you'll consider this request. You can reach me via this email address ([email protected]) or
Thanks very much for your time.

Best,
Will Alexander
