The Town will need to either extend the Recology Franchise Agreement or initiate competitive procurement for similar services. R3 Consulting Group, Inc. 15. RUTHERFORD CANYON SPEED HUMPS
Residential neighborhoods can be diminished through the negative effects of vehicle speeds and traffic. To counteract this, agencies have developed traffic calming tools to address concerns of both safety and quality of life.

resolution (1) adopting the 2007 Placer County Neighborhood Traffic Management Program, (2) directing staff to gauge the level of support within the Sierra de Montserrat neighborhood for the installation of speed lumps along Rutherford Canyon Road, and (3) to initiate a project to install speed lumps if there is sufficient neighborhood support and funding.
