BUSINESS
1. BUDGET WORKSHOP - PRELIMINARY BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEARS 2025/26 AND 2026/27 The purpose of this item is to provide the Town Council with a draft of the proposed Town budget for fiscal years 2025/26 and 2026/27, the first time the Town will have a biennial (2- year) budget. This presentation of the budget is in advance of the staff’s request for adoption in June, providing the Council with ample time to review, ask questions, and provide guidance for the final adopted budget.
This staff report covers highlights within the budget. The attachment presents the full budget, including all funds for both budget years. The comments in this report will focus on 2025/26 and will only point out noteworthy items in the 2026/27 budget that are significantly different from 2025/26
RECOMMENDED ACTION
Staff recommends that the Council receive and provide staff with direction.
PUBLIC COMMENT: None
Direction to staff to move forward with the bi-annual budget make recommended adjustments and bring back to the June Town Council meeting for approval.
