On October 14, 2025, the Town Council directed staff to form an Ad Hoc Committee to further study the creation of an EZ.
The Ad Hoc committee met several times, and the Town hosted a community open house on January 28, 2026 where Staff presented the proposal and displayed a map of the zone, as well as key parameters of the ordinance.
