Subject: Appointment to the Library Commission - Freddie Wheeler Dear Mayor Meadows and Council members,
I write in support of re-appointing Freddie Wheeler to the Library Commission for a second term. Commissioner Wheeler has brought her deep understanding of how a city conducts its business to the Commission which has allowed the Commission to work smarter and faster.

During Commissioner Wheeler’s first term she identified a critical issue at the Woodland Library based on her conversation with the Senior Commission and in partnership with our Community Librarian, Freddie and the subcommittee explored solutions to reduce noise levels. I attend most of the Commission’s meetings and have observed Freddie’s strong and inclusive style of leadership, inviting all Commissioners and others to contribute to the discussions resulting in well-informed decisions and providing advice to the City Council.

Thank you.

Regards,
Cindy Hill, former Library Commissioner and active Library user and supporter 6 Agenda Item 2.
