1 N. San Antonio Rd. ~ Los Altos, CA Sally Meadows, Councilmember CALL MEETING TO ORDER - Jonathan D. Weinberg, Mayor, called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
ESTABLISH QUORUM - Pursuant to AB2449, Sally Meadows, Councilmember, requested to attend the meeting remotely due to a medical issue.
During the Special Meeting of September 24, 2024 at 2:00 p.m., there was a motion by Fligor and Second by Lee Eng to approve the remote attendance of Councilmember Meadows. Motion carried unanimously by roll call vote.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - Neysa Fligor, Councilmember, led the Pledge of Allegiance.
REPORT ON CLOSED SESSION
There were no public comments during the Closed Session meeting.
During the Closed Session meetings of September 17 and September 24, 2024, the only reportable action was the unanimous approval of the remote attendance request of Councilmember Meadows.
CHANGES TO THE ORDER OF THE AGENDA
There were no changes to the order of the agenda.

Motion by Dailey and Second by Fligor to approve the Consent Calendar, excluding Items 6 and

PUBLIC HEARINGS
2. Hold Public Hearing No. 4 to receive a presentation from the City's consulting demographer, Redistricting Partners, to discuss and provide further directions as to the development of district boundaries and additional draft district maps for consideration for the City of Los Altos; solicit public input on the maps and on the order of elections of the five new districts, and whether candidates for City Council must be residents and electors of the district in which they seek election for any period of time prior to filing their nomination papers and declaring their intent to run Jon Maginot, Assistant City Manager and Elizabeth Stitt, Redistricting Partners, presented the report.
