CALL MEETING TO ORDER – Pete Dailey, Mayor, called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
ESTABLISH QUORUM – All Councilmembers were present.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE – Neysa Fligor, Vice Mayor, led the Pledge of Allegiance.
REPORT ON CLOSED SESSION
There was no reportable action from the Closed Session meeting of August 26, 2025.
CHANGES TO THE ORDER OF THE AGENDA
There were no changes to the order of the agenda.
SPECIAL ITEMS
Issue Proclamation Recognizing the Service and Retirement of Public Works Director Aida Fairman
Pete Dailey, Mayor, presented the proclamation to Aida Fairman, Public Works Director.
Issue Proclamation Recognizing September 17 - 25, 2025 as Constitution Week Pete Dailey, Mayor, presented the proclamation to Alice Mansell, Los Altos Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution President.

2. Adoption of Resolution - Designating a Regular Meeting Date City of Los Altos
City Council Regular Meeting Minutes
September 9, 2025
Adopt a Resolution Designating the City Council Meeting of September 30, 2025 a Regular Meeting in Accordance with Los Altos Municipal Code Section 2.04.010 “Meetings.”
3. Adoption of Resolution - Construction Contract
Adopt a Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a construction contract with Randazzo Enterprises, Inc. of Castroville, California in an amount not-to-exceed $86,000, and up to 15% contingency not-to-exceed $12,900, for a total amount not-to-exceed $98,900, to complete the demolition and removal of the Caretaker House in Redwood Grove

Neysa Fligor, Vice Mayor, announced she would recuse from participating in or voting on the following commissions, due to a possible conflict of interest with the Levine Act:

Jonathan D. Weinberg, Councilmember, announced he would recuse from participating in or voting on the following commissions, due to a possible conflict of interest:
• Senior Commission
Melissa Thurman, City Clerk, confirmed the appointments of the following applicants to various city commissions:

One vacant short-term seat expiring in September 2026

One vacant short-term seat expiring in September 2028
