CALL TO ORDER {5:00 P.M.)
Vice Mayor Bhateja called the meeting to order at 5 :05 PM.
ROLL CALL
Vice Mayor Raj iv Bhateja, Council Member Stanley Mok, and Council Member George Tyson were present.
Mayor Kavita Tankha and Council Member Linda Swan were absent.
1. PUBLIC COMMENT (Public Comment is Limited to Items which are the Subject of the Special Meeting)
1. K Malek, a Los Altos Hills resident, expressed an understanding that a motion had been made for the Planning Commission to provide recommendations to the City Council regarding split-zoned lots located within designated fire zones and fire severity areas. K.
Malek respectfully requested that, when the Planning Commission meeting on this topic is scheduled, all residents with split-zoned lots affected by fire severity classifications be properly notified to ensure they have the opportunity to attend and provide input.
2. CONSENT CALENDAR
A. Waive Reading and Adopt an Ordinance of the Town of Los Altos Hills Designating Fire Hazard Severity Zones Pursuant to Government Code Section 51179 based on the CalFire Maps Public Comment:
1. John O'Connell, a Los Altos Hills resident, inquired whether the Ordinance being considered by the Council was included in the agenda packet.
Council Member Mok made a motion to Waive Reading and Adopt an Ordinance of the Town of Los Altos Hills Designating Fire Hazard Severity Zones Pursuant to Government Code Section 51179 based on the CalFire Maps. Vice Mayor Bhateja seconded the motion.
