Option #2 should be the obvious choice ‐ in order to allow everyone an opportunity to vote. Although, I personally vote by mail, there are registered voters that will only vote in person.
In person voters should not be disenfranchised due to the $31k difference in costs.
Withou rehashing all of the funds spent on Pickleball Courts, termination of city manager, the additional expense for encouraging everyone to vote should not even be a consideration.
This will be a Special Election with a low voter turn‐out forecast, the council should select option #2 of including in‐ person voting.
I look forward to the February 19th, city council meeting.

August 26, 2025 Election conducted solely by a mail ballot, with an estimated cost of $45,545 November 4, 2025 Election with mail and voting in person options, with an estimated cost of $76,315 The meeting begins at 6:00 pm in the City Council Chambers at City Hall located at 520 J Street.
