SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES

INTRODUCTION: City Manager Than opened the meeting at 6:02 p.m. and provided an introductory statement.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Los Banos VFW Post 2487 and American Legion Post 166 led the presentation of colors.
ROLL CALL – MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL PRESENT: Council Members Mitzy Perez – District 1, Refugio LLamas – District 2, Marcus Chavez – District 3, Deborah Lewis – District 4, Mayor Michael Amabile; ABSENT: None STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT: Police Chief Reyna, City Attorney Lerner, City Manager Than, City Clerk Mallonee, Community & Economic Development Director Souza Elms, Public Works Director Via, Parks & Recreation Director Heim, Finance Director Moreno, Interim Human Resources Director Carlos
MAYOR’S STATE OF THE CITY ADDRESS: Mayor Amabile gave his State of the City Address followed by Department staff and City Council Members presenting a presentation. Director Moreno provided an update which included a PowerPoint presentation. Director Souza Elms provided an update which included a PowerPoint and video presentation. Council Member Lewis shared updates within the Fire Department which included a PowerPoint presentation. Fire Chief Tualla provided an update which included a video presentation. Council Member Chavez shared updates within the Police Department. Police Chief Reyna provided an update which included a PowerPoint and video presentation. Public Works Director Via provided an update which included a PowerPoint and video presentation. Council Member Perez shared updates within the Parks & Recreation Department which included a PowerPoint and video presentation.
Mayor Amabile added closing remarks.
