[EXTERNAL SENDER]
AS OUTREACH DIRECTOR FOR 25 YEARS AT ST LUKE’S EPISCOPAL CHURCH , I CAN TRULY SAY THAT WHAT WE ALL ARE DOING IS MAKING A POSITIVE DIFFERENCE. THE FOOD PANTRY, THE SHOWER MINISTRY,

AND MOST RECENTLY, THE HOTEL PROGRAM , ARE ALL VITAL COMPONENTS FOR KEEPING OUR

UNHOUSED COMMINITY (MOSTLY SENIORS) WELL FED, CLEAN, SAFE, AND PROTECTED AGAINST SEVERE WEATHER CONDITIONS. WE COULD NOT DO THIS WITHOUT THE SUPPORT OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS. THE PROPOSED 50K WOULD ENABLE US TO CONTINUE OUR MINISTRIES FOR OUR UNHOUSED FRIENDS AT A \MOST EFFECTIVE LEVEL. I AM HOPEFUL THAT YOU WILL AGREE AND VOTE YES! ON THIS PROPOSAL.THANK YOU FOR YOUR VALUABLE SUPPORT!

[EXTERNAL SENDER]
My name is Sue Ahmadian and I am president of the SVdP conference out of St Mary’s church in Los Gatos. I am grateful for the Council‘s support for the unhoused. The public portable toilet, Hotel program and support of the St Luke’s pantry and LGUMC shower ministry has lifted up the daily living experience for our unhoused residents. No one wants to see our neighbors unhoused. But until that complex problem moves toward better outcomes, it benefits everyone to improve their lives as best as we can while they live outdoors and in their cars. Please continue full financial support of these valuable programs.

Thank you, Sue Ahmadian
