Subject: Concur with letter re. DEI Commission membership Date: Friday, October 3, 2025 5:27:03 PM
[EXTERNAL SENDER]
Re. Letter submitted by Gordon Yamate regarding Policy Committee proposed revisions I am writing to concur with the points outlined in Gordon Yamate's letter. I also ask that the size of the DEI Commission be 7 members plus two liaison members.

The wisdom of the original commission structure, outlining seats from diverse segments of the community, has proven to be essential to the ability to authentically represent the broadest set of interests and concerns. Both faith and business community interests are central to Los Gatos' identity.

Many seeds have been planted by the DEI Commission since its creation, so now is the time to nurture and support the work, by keeping a sufficient number and representation on the Commission.

Sincerely,
Diane Fisher
