Minutes of the Town Council Special Meeting – Commissioner Interviews February 3, 2026
6:15 P.M.
The Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos conducted this special meeting in person and utilizing teleconferencing means.
MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 6:17 P.M.
ROLL CALL
Present: Mayor Rob Moore, Vice Mayor Maria Ristow, Council Member Mary Badame, Council Member Rob Rennie, Council Member Matthew Hudes.
Absent: None.
VERBAL COMMUNICATIONS
No one spoke
Wendy Wood, Town Clerk, explained the interview process.
OTHER BUSINESS
1. Interview Applicants and Make Appointments to Town Boards, Committees, and Commissions.
Mayor Moore welcomed applicants and explained the interview process.
The Town Council interviewed the following applicants:
COMMUNITY HEALTH AND SENIOR SERVICES COMMISSION (CHSSC) o Stewart Brewster
o Lura Halbert
Ballots were distributed to each Council Member, and the Town Clerk explained that a candidate must receive a majority vote of three or more to be appointed. The Council Members completed their ballots and provided them to the Town Clerk. Town Clerk Wood read the votes and appointments as follows:
COMMUNITY HEALTH AND SENIOR SERVICES COMMISSION (CHSSC) o Stewart Brewster received four votes (Moore, Badame, Hudes and Rennie) o Lura Halbert received one vote (Ristow)

Stewart Brewster was appointed to the Community Health and Senior Services Commission by a majority vote.
