Community Outreach
● Annual Christmas Parade - designed and made Christmas themed LGYC shirts, walked in the parade for outreach
● Organized and planned first ever Los Gatos multicultural fair, recruited volunteers and outreached to organizations. Featured booths from varying countries, cultural performances, and food + items to share the rich culture in LG ● Spring into Green: Gave out local wildflower seeds to promote native gardening, did outreach for YC and shared our purposes and goals with the broader community. Had the pleasure of introducing the mayor for the State of the Town.
Teen Wellness
● Outreach: We made a flyer and a Tik Tok
style video comforting students by letting
them know that stress is normal and how to
deal with stress.
● LGHS Dog Days: We collaborated with canine
companions and LGHS to plan the dog day
event there that will happen later this month.

Traffic Safety
● Conducted a bus survey at local middle and
high schools to quantify bus system usage
and current issues
○ Used this to streamline the bus route,
which we discussed with VTA
○ Also recommended that Council pilot the
LGHS Bus Pass Program
● Continued to provide e-bike safety outreach
● Conducted site visits with Parks & Public
Works related to results of last year’s transit
survey
Environmental
● Gathered business feedback on sustainability
ordinances, barriers to adoption, and interest in
going more sustainable.
● Began drafting updates to the Accessory Ordinance
informed by business interviews and local needs.
● Identified strong interest among businesses in
sustainability, shifting next year’s focus toward
promotion, education, and a Sustainability
Workshop rather than immediate ordinance
revisions.
Notable Liaison Work
● Complete Streets & Transportation Liaison coordinated with traffic safety ad-hoc to communicate information from the survey and advice on future priorities.
● DEI Commission Liaisons coordinated with community
outreach ad-hoc for their participation in the multicultural event.
● Library Liaison coordinated with the community outreach ad-hoc with the library in the planning of the multicultural event.
